Spice Verandah Cooking Class – Let’s go veggie, a Vegetarian meal – 7 April 2019

India is known to be a haven for vegetarians with plenty of options involving lentils, beans, pulses, cottage cheese etc.

The menu for the day will be:

1) Palak Paneer- Cottage cheese cooked with spinach, cashews, whole spices and heavy cream

2) Dal Tadka – Lentils cooked with tomatoes and tempered with mustard, dried red chillies and curry leaves

3) Rajma Masala- Kidney beans cooked in a red gravy with whole spices and chili

4) Turmeric rice- Rice cooked with turmeric and whole spices

What is included:

1) Welcome Drink: A glass of Raspberry Lassi

2) A jug of Indian Sangria for the group to share

3) A full meal comprising all that we prepare together

4) Home-made Indian dessert

5) A recipe booklet sent to you in PDF form to your e-mail ID
